Come-See Visit

Seashells Weddings at the Cable Beach Resorts is committed to transforming the most special moment in your life into an unforgettable experience.  We recommend that in order for you to maximize the efficiency of your planning process you schedule a “come see visit” for a formal planning session to meet with your Seashells Romance Director and wedding vendors. Our Wedding Office hours of operation are: M-F 9am-5pm and Sat 9am-1pm.  Kindly indicate your interest in scheduling a meeting by giving us a call on 242-326-3722 or completing this section in the online.  After our meeting, when we have an idea of the celebration you envision, we will then be able to prepare a preliminary budget to help you with your planning.
 
If your schedule does not permit a visit prior to your wedding event, we are of course happy to attend to your wedding planning details via email, telephone or fax.  We find email a very useful communications tool that ensures that there is a record of the progress that is being made and everyone is on the same page.  An online Seashells Quote is provided for your convenience. At the beginning of the wedding process, we caution you - don’t think small. Think BIG!  Create the fantasy-wedding event you’ve always dreamed of having.  You can always scale down later.  This approach is far better than starting with just one element or focusing on small details.  A big idea, or a fantasy that captures the imagination will inspire you and help you create that thread of personal style that your Seashells Romance Directors will weave together through every element of your signature-wedding event.
 
Save-The-Date & Your Wedding Guests

As soon as we receive and process your signed contract, we will provide a complimentary, e-mail Save-The-Date mailing, to your invited Guests.  This thoughtful gesture is a reflection of your personal style, sets the tone for your wedding event and lets your Guests know that you want this celebration to be as enjoyable for them as it will be for you.  Guests will learn of your plans to get married at the Cable Beach Resorts in Nassau and they will be directed to log on and read about your wedding details on your personalized web page on www.seashellsweddings.com   
 
The Seashells and Cable Beach Resorts brands of hospitality extend from the wedding party to each and every Guest you’ve invited to share this joyous occasion with you.   Guests visiting the site will be able to download a customized Seashells Weddings Guest Reservation Form for that heavenly bed® experience together with a Seashells Weddings Guest Activity Form for pre-booking Nassau’s most popular tours and attractions.   This gives them lots of time to arrange vacation time away from work; take advantage of specially priced group room and tour/attraction rates; think about what they would like to see and do in Nassau while there to attend your nuptials, and book their airline tickets.   All you have to do is provide us a copy of your engagement photo and a complete address list of your invited guests, including email and let us get your wedding event planning process started for you.
 
For wedding couples, Cable Beach Resorts provide a complimentary upgrade to the next level of room category that you’ve booked.  This is subject to availability.
 
Important Planning Timescales

Getting Started:  An initial, non-refundable retainer of $500 begins the planning process and puts a five-day hold on your preferred date/time/location with your Seashells Romance Sales Director.
Contract signing:  A fifty percent deposit of the total wedding budget is your commitment to hold your wedding at Cable Beach Resorts and is required at contract signing.  Signed copies of the Seashells Weddings Contract Invoice and Terms of Agreement must be returned with your payment.
Booking Confirmation: Once the contract is processesd, a Seashells Romance Director will be assigned and will contact you via email. She will now manage your file and along with your Seashells Romance Sales Director they will help you transform the most special moment in your life into an everlasting memory.
Save-The-Date Mailing/Personalized Web Page:  This thoughtful gesture directs Guests to your online Wedding Details.  Here they can download the customized Seashells Weddings Guest Reservation Form, Seashells Weddings Guest Activity Form and email their RSVPs.
Ten Weeks out:  We recommend that you contact any Guests whom you have not received a response from to ensure that they received your invitation and to confirm their attendance.
Nine Weeks out:  We will send you a Schedule of Events that gives a comprehensive overview of how the wedding event is intended to flow and all of the important elements.  We request that you indicate your approval by signing and returning a copy of this document to your Seashells Romance Director.
Eight Weeks out:  Full payment is due to your Seashells Romance Sales Director in the form of a major credit card or a certified cashier’s check or money order made payable to Seashells Weddings.
Two Weeks out:  Final Guest guarantee required for Food and Beverage functions
Final Balance:  Any final balance due after your final guarantee and for any last minute items will be collected from you prior to your wedding day.
